My sincere appreciation and thanks to all of you for your active participation in the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. Over 450 members attended the event and made it a

very memorable. The support, enthusiasm and generosity received are truly encouraging and deeply appreciated. Conducting the pooja at the Jain temple, the melodious

group song by the children, followed by Visarjane and a grand entertainment program by Mr Uday Jadugar and the Bramari dance group made this year's celebration

even more special. 



I owe special thanks to Mrs Meena and Mr Arun Madhav who sponsored the delicious lunch from Vasanth Bhavan. In addition, thanks to our sponsors Drs Jayanthi &

Ganesh Chaturthi would not have been so special without the spectacular pooja decorations, Karjikai, kadalekalu Usali and Kosambari prepared by our KCA members.

Thank you all very much.A special thanks to Mr Prasad Thimmappa for sculpting the main Ganesha and leading the Ganesha idol making workshop.



You probably saw the Youth Committee members through out the event. Sowmya Murthy and Viva Shastry led the youth team in setting up the pooja hall, pooja thalis,

distributing flowers and other pooja samagri as well as at the lunch. Thank you very much.

My thanks to the event co-ordinators Vallisha Shastry and Girish Kannalli, and the other directors and their families in making Ganesh Chaturthi a grand success.

A quick update about the dancer who had a mishap during the performance. She was checked and released the same evening. It appears that she suffered a concussion

and was in a bit of shock. She is doing well now and is enjoying the sights of LA. Thanks to all the physicians who responded to the emergency call.Thank you all for your concern and wishes.



Please mark your calendars for next big event of the year, Children's Day on November 13th,Saturday in a beautiful auditorium at a North Hollywood High School.

Please encourage your children to participate in the various contests and cultural activities.More information about the event will be posted shortly.
