More than three hundred members attended the Natakotsava at John F. Kennedy high school. Thank you all for attending Natakotsava and making the event a successful one. I trust that you all enjoyed the dramas and efforts put forth by our members. Congratulations to all the Drama Coordinators, Directors and Artists for their dedication and hard work over these past two months.

Our special thanks go to Alamelu Iyengar and her groups for accepting our invitation and doing a wonderful play Desi Dillemma.

I would like to congratulate Viva Shastry, winner of the Cultural Awareness award, also would like to congratulate all the Drama winners.I would like to thank all the Judges of Cultural Awareness Award and the Natakotsava award.

On behalf of the KCA board of directors, I would like to extend special thanks all the volunteers for their support and who helped us in numerous tasks, such as hosting guests, working behind the stage, to make coffee, bringing the food and serving the food etc…

Greetings from KCA! We are pleased to inform you about our annual Natakotsava event, which will be held on Feb. 27, 2010 in SF. Valley. We are calling for entries from members to participate.

The last date to receive the entry is Dec. 25, 2009

Guidelines for entries:- 1. The numbers of slots available are limited to FOUR. 2. The duration of drama should be 20 to 40 minutes max. from entry to exit including artist introduction. 3. The selection is mostly based on first-come first-serve basis with due considerations to variety, number of participants and creativity. 4. The Dramas should be in Kannada. The theme and language should be suitable for family entertainment. 5. Only Email entries are accepted. 6. All participants must be KCA-SC members. Non members are welcome to participate by becoming members. 7. The group coordinators have the responsibility to make sure that all participants are KCA-SC members. 8. The drama practice will be inspected by one of the KCA-SC director for the time duration and needs of audio/video/lights. 9.
