	19-July-10		Jagadish G.R.		Irvine		Yesterday's event was just fantastic. The weather was good, the games were good, music was good, and just mingling with friends was fabulous. All the kids had a great time participating in the numerous events (running race, gonicheela spardhe, lemon and spoon, etc.). Cricket, TT, Chess, and Carrom that were held prior to the picnic was also awesome. Just a suggestion - Please bring back Bcube and Masala Dhosay for next Vanaviharotsava. Jagadish

	09-May-10		Sudarshan		Irvine		Dear KCA-SC Board of 2010, Congratulations to Amrutha and the Team for executing a memorable 2 years of events, activities and most important of all making a big difference in the Building Fund improvement! In 1996, Mrs. Rajamani Narasimhan dreamt of a self sufficient Building, "Kannada Bhavana" for our Kannada Koota. She toiled to raise a large amount of fund to muster the seed money for this massive project. As one says, it has to start somewhere and she did in 1996. As the years passed by, several Boards there after contributed small amounts towards this project. However, your team's effort in this direction has been the greatest to date in generating $20,000. The thought and the purpose is commendable while the amount is impressive, especially in this economy. Mrs. Amrutha and the Team, you have truly defined "SAMAJA SEVE" !! Kudos!! 	26-Jun-09		Sudarshan		Irvine		Namaskara, Regarding the new web page: I would like to congratulate Shri Mohanchandra for systematically and diligently working towards this project, which must have taken lot of his family time.  Very impressive and homely. The color combination, symbols (especially, the transportation vehicles - animals of CA and KA), menu titles (in Kannada), and several new ideas and contents are great.Some opportunities for improvement in the future if found appropriate: English menu with drop-down is very convenient. I am sure the same format will appear in future for Kannada menu also. Similar to the inclusion of Past Presidents, it would be nice to see pictures of past Boards and past Youth Boards also since its inception. Provide a pie chart of members based on the area/city, which can guide the Board in scheduling the locations of number of programs in a year to be held in different areas to provide a fair driving distance to all the members.  Request articles from the members on a continuous basis to post on the web so as to promote literary activity of our members. This may facilitate the elimination of hard copies of Sangama or reduce the cost to some extent. This is for all the other affiliations: There are several Balvihars, Bhajan groups, Aralumallige, Bala prapancha, Bala jagat, Vishnusahasranama group, Purandar aradhane, music groups, sports groups (indoor and out door) run by several members, who can post their basic contact information and brief outline of their activity, which will help people to find like interests. Subbu, Thank you very much for a very well conducted, organized, complete with format, rules, scoring and execution.  Srinivas Bhat, we missed you.
